Indian Army Nursing Assistant Eligibility Criteria

So, let’s talk about what is Indian Army Nursing Assistant Eligibility and what its job. NA takes training, especially in AMC center and at various service hospitals such as MH. Other than that they also take basic military training. Also, they assist the doctors, look after the patients, work in the Operation Theaters. They have some important roles also like account for medicines in the medical stores.

However, only those who have biology in class 12th can apply for the post. So, if don’t have biology in class 12th then you are not eligible for the post. Although, we discuss all the criteria down for you. So, if you want to take part in the rally make sure you clear all the criteria first.

Educational Qualification

So, here we discuss the educational qualification for NA.

Age Qualification

For joining the Indian Army Nursing Assistant, your age should be between 17½ – 23 years. Also, your DOB must follow under age limit given in the form.

Martial Qualification

The candidates should be unmarried. Although, if you are below than 21 years & married to the widow of a deceased brother. In that case, you are eligible for instant enrolment.

Nationality Qualification

In this criteria, you must have the id-proof released by the Indian government. So, that you can prove your Indian citizenship.

Physical Qualification

Medical Qualification

So, after the physical next stage is medical. Therefore, let’s discuss it a little and know what are the things you should know about it. Also, we provide some points are given below for more clarification.

  • Firstly, you should not have any disease of bones, lungs, or any other part of your body.
  • Also, you should have at least proper 14 dental points.
  • Although, you should not have any internal or external injury.
  • Also, you must be physically or mentally fit.
  • There are some other rules regarding tattoo policy in the Indian Army also.
  • You should have a proper vision of 6/6.

Selection Process

In this section, we are going to discuss the selection process. So, to become the Indian Army NA Soldier you have to go through 3 tests. In other words, there are 3 tests conducted by the army i.e Physical, Medical, and Written. Although, there are some extra stages too like online registration and document verification.

Online registration

Afterward, you check the eligibility you can apply online for the post. So, the first thing you have to do is register yourself online on the official website of the Indian Army. Therefore, after registration following test will be conducted in the rally ground.

  1. PFT (Physical Fitness Test).
  2. Medical Test.
  3. CEE (Common Entrance Exam) or Written Test.

Physical Fitness Test

In this section, let’s discuss a little about the PFT. So, this is the first step after the online registration. Make sure you are physically fit for this stage. Also, this stage has 4 tests in it.

  1. 1.6 Km running.
  2. Pull-ups.
  3. Zig-Zag Balance.
  4. 9-Feet Ditch.

Let’s discuss all these steps in brief.

1. 1.6 Km running

In this test, all the candidates are divided into groups that are not fixed and made randomly. So, that’s why everyone needs the front line in the group as they get to benefit from the start. Also, you get the marks according to your completion time. We also provide the table below divided into groups and marks accordingly.

Hence, we suggest you practice according to the timing. So, that you can clear it as soon as possible and more marks than any other.

2. Pull-Ups

After PFT you have to face this round. So, in this round, you have to do at least 6 pull-ups to qualify it. Although we suggest you do as more as you can to gain more and more marks. We also provide the full list of marks according to the number of pull-ups.

Therefore, for gaining more marks we suggest you do more practice of it.

3. Zig-Zag Balance

This test doesn’t contain any marks on it. So, it is only for you to qualify. Although, in this test, you have to walk or run over a zig-zag platform. So, you have to complete it without falling from it. This round is only to check your balance.

4. 9 Feet ditch

So, this is also known as the final test of the PFT. This test also doesn’t have any marks on it. However, you need to qualify this for going to the next stage. Also, we suggest you clear this test in your first attempt.

Medical Test

In most of the rallies Physical and, Medical Tests are held on the same day. Also, they basically held on different days. So, to clear the Medical Test, it is very important for you to fulfill all the medical conditions. However, some candidates are medically referred for curing their minor defects. Also, they have to come again after few days for re-medical.

Common Entrance Examination (CEE)/Written Test

This is the last step for you to becoming a soldier in the Indian army. Also, there will be 5 parts and the total marks will be 200. We have also given the table below for more clarification. Also, there are a total of 50 questions with 200 marks. However, you need to get 80 marks for passing in the CEE. The Merit list is based on this so we suggest you do more and more practice.
