The selection process goes through many steps which includes the physical fitness test, medical fitness test, written examination and intereview. After clearing all these rounds only, a candidate will become eligible to be selected to serve for the Indian army. Military Nursing Service (MNS) Eligibility Criteria

Military Nursing Service (MNS) Selection Process

The mns selection process is similar to other selection processes in the Indian army, the first step being the educational qualification. Written Test

After passing the basic eligibility criteria, the candidates will be entitled to sit for the written examination. The written examination will be of 100 marks in total and will include 3 subjects in the syllabus, the questions will be objective types and the subjects will be based on Nursing, English language and General Intellignece. The concept of negative marking is not there in this exam, and the OMR answer sheets will be evaluated at IHQ of MOD. The result of the qualifying candidates will be announced in the army website and candidates are responsible for checking their own results cause no candidate will be informed individually about their results.

Interview and Written Examination: 

After clearing the written examination, the candidates will be short listed on the basis of their merit and thus will be called for the interview accordingly. After the interview is done, only the candidates who have qualified for the interview will be sent for the medical examination and will be selected on the basis of that, this process may take upto 2-5 days. The railway ticket accomodation of candidates appearing for the interview will be paid and other accomodations will be the responsibility of the candidates themselves. Make sure that you do not forget any document and present all the documents when asked, in case you fail to do so, your candidature will be cancelled and you will be rendered ineligible.

3.) Then the candidate should fill their important details in the form and attest all the required documents.

4.) The email ID of the candidate will be their user ID for the whole process and they can enter their own password.

5.) A passport photo with a light background and in jpeg format is necessary, the file size of which should be between 5kb-20kb and the photo size should be atleast 3.5 x 3.5 cms.

6.) After entering all the details, a 200 rs. fee should be paid through the online payment gateway and only after the confirmation of the payment, the candidature will be accepted.

7.) It is considered a smart idea to keep a print out copy of your application, which confirms that you have applied. The admit card for the examination will be available after some time of the succesful generation of appplication.
