Indian Army Merit List 2022- Final Merit list: A person without any dreams and ambition is as good as dead. Joining the Indian Army is a dream that thousands of youngsters see. But, it is not easy to make this dream come true. As you know thousands of candidates apply for the post every year but only a few meet the success.
The Indian Army merit list is based on the Physical Test (race, height, weight, chest, bridge, etc) + Written exam + Medical exam. But different categories have their different methods, in other words, some trades have the merit list based on written exam only.

Bonus Marks for Final Merit List
There are some bonus marks for the specific candidates in the Final Merit List. We provide the table below accordingly.
For Soldier GD
GD post in Army is General Duty Soldier. They are non-technical people, they are the basic fight unit of an army. A new recruit is appointed as a sepoy rank soldier and can rise up to a subedar major or an honorary captain. Bonus marks for Soldier GD are given below in the table.

For Soldier Clerk/SKT/, Sol Tech, Sol NA
As there are thousands of soldiers in the army, so, Soldier Clerk is responsible for all clerical work related to maintaining the inventory, carryout documentation of personnel, bookkeeping, and other routine correspondence. Bonus marks for Soldier Clerk are given below in the table.

For Soldier Tradesmen
Tradesman is an important component of our Indian Army. Various tradesmen form part of an army unit. cook, masalchi, equipment boot repairer, carpenter, etc etc. they are a very useful part of the unit. Bonus marks for Soldier Tradesman are given below in the table.

Note: If your merit list is not mentioned above then it is possible that it is not released yet. So keep checking our website as we upload the merit list as soon as it is released.
Note: Only 1 type of bonus marks will be added to the total. In other words, for Soldier GD, the son of servicemen with NCC ‘B’ certificate will only get 20 Marks & not 20+10=30 marks.
Indian Army Expected Merit List
On the basis of the above tables, you can guess your marks after giving the exams. So, you can easily calculate your merit list. Moreover, the merit list can vary because sometimes paper comes too easy so, merit goes high & sometimes paper is too hard so, merit falls down.

How merit list is prepared?
The merit list is prepared according to your marks in physical & written exams. In other words, how much you earn in running, push-ups, & written exams. For comes under the merit your overall performance matters.
In other words, you have done excellent in running & push-ups, but only get 35 marks in the written exam. Even then you might get selected for the Indian Army GD.

You can also download the merit list from the official website. Following are the steps to do so:
- Firstly, you need to visit the official website of the Indian Army i.e. www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- Second, you need to enter the captcha in the box given.
- At the homepage scroll down to the bottom & on the bottom left corner you will see Rally Schedule. After this click on the view all option.
- Now, in the new tab, you will see all the notifications, but you only have to look for your desired one, after finding your list just click on the link to download.
- Afterwards, you can download the list or print it from there.
