Indian Army Clerk Syllabus 2021 – Exam Pattern, Subjects
Firstly, you need to fill & submit the online form on the official website of the Indian Army i.e. www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. After someday admit card will be issued by the government, for the latest update on the admit card you can also check the article on how to download the Indian Army Admit Card.
The Indian Army Clerk CEE (Common Entrance Exam) contains 200 marks including 2 parts. In which Part-1 (5 questions from G.K, 5 questions from G.S, 10 questions from Maths, & 5 questions from Computer), & Part-2 (25 questions from English).
For passing this exam you just need to score 80 marks out of 200. Part-1 & Part-2 are of 100 marks each. In which Part-1 (20 marks from G.K, 20 marks from G.S, 40 marks from Maths, & 20 marks from Computer), & Part-2 (100 marks from English).
The paper pattern for the Indian Army Clerk is as follows:

Note: Indian Army Clerk question paper Part-1 & Part-2 will have a total of 100 marks and each question will carry equal marks. Therefore, the candidate should pass 32% in each subject and 40% overall. In other words, if you have 32 numbers in Part-1 & 40 numbers in Part-2, then you will fail, because 32 + 40 = 72 marks whereas you must have 80 marks to pass.
There is a marking pattern in the exam for every question i.e.
- Indian Army Clerk Exam is conducted for 1 hour (60 minutes).
- The Paper is a total of 200 marks.
- Appeared candidates must attempt 02 papers each paper consists of 25 questions.
- Each question carries 4 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 0.5 for every wrong answer.
- For passing this exam, candidates have to score 32 marks in both the parts & 80 marks in total.
- There is no penalty for leaving a question.
